A Free Pass GiveAway – but with a challenge!

Yes, it is time for me to announce that I’ll be participating yet again as a Guest Designer for UStamp with Dawn and Friends. This round is called “Hey Big Shot Worldwide…thats how we roll”. Can you figure out what the theme is for this round?

Well I have a pass to give away to one lucky blog reader – and it could be YOU! So here is your challenge:

Make a card using the following sketch and link it here by April 30th at 10pm PST.

UStamp is a great way to learn fun and new ideas and communicate with other crafters. Whether you win or not, I certainly suggest heading on over to check out the details and to sign up! When you do that, you’ll be able to proudly display the following blinkie on your blog or website:

So, get crafting and link your card below!

UStamp FREE Pass Winner is…..

Karina Loewen!

Via Random number generator I picked post number 28 and it was Karina’s! Here is what Karina had to say….

What is U Stamp, Carrie??? I think I want some :)
My favorite spring thing is tulips… lots and lots of them. I like tulips in a box, and I like them with a fox. I can like them hear or there, i love tulips anywhere!!!

Thank you all so much for your responses and sharing your spring wishes with me! Congrats Karina, I’ll be in touch with you privately.

FREE PASS Giveaway!

I wish to thank you all so much for your kind comments on my first UStamp project as a guest designer. It was such fun to put together and Dawn has graciously asked me again to guest design for the next edition of UStamp….Spring Soiree 2010!

I have a FREE PASS to give away and have been trying to figure out a cool way to do it but I’m tapped! So, I’ve decided to ask a question…..what is your favorite thing about spring? Just answer your question in this post and I’ll draw the winner on February 20th at midnight.

My fave thing about spring is watching all the trees bud and bloom and it has already started here!

And the winner of the UStamp pass is….

MONIKA DAVIS! Above you’ll see her awesome creation using the Punch Pals stamp set for a birthday card. You can see her blog post with her creation here.

Monika, I’ll be sending an email with your contact info to the UStamp girls – thank you for playing and enjoy!

Snowflakes and Candy?

Only two days left to participate in the challenge to win a FREE PASS for UStamp with Dawn and Friends….with love 2010! All you need to do is make a card with a Christmas stamp set in a non-Christmas way and post to this post by midnight PST on Tuesday, January 5th!

For this card, I used the Christmas Punch stamp set to make flowers. I love how the snowflakes match the Boho Blossoms punch (SU is just so smart!).

You may notice that I’m really enjoying a lot of white space on my cards but I’m sprucing them up with extra little elements….we’ll see how long this lasts…..

Not much to say about this card – I’ve got to get back down to the stamp room to make some more Leadership swaps (I’m heading to Phoenix in only 3 more sleeps!).

Exciting News, a Challenge and a Prize for YOU!

A while back I received a very nice email from Dawn Rapsas of UStamp with Dawn and Friends inviting me to be a guest designer for the “with love 2010″ edition. I happily accepted and can now let you all know! Yeah!

I just sent in my first project and am super excited about it. I hope you are too!

To celebrate this occasion, I have been given ONE FREE PASS for With Love 2010 UStamp (starting January 15th) and I’m going to give it to one lucky reader of this blog. How? Well, I’m going to put forth a challenge to you – a Happy Un-Christmas Challenge!

Here is what you need to do:

  • Make a project (card, scrapbook page, 3D item) using Christmas stamps in a non-Christmas way. We all have them out still, let’s use them one more time!
  • Link your project in the comments section below
  • You have until January 5th at midnight PST to complete your project and link here to be in the draw to win
  • A very discriminating panel of judges will decide the grand prize winner of a UStamp pass and there will be 2nd and 3rd place prizes as well

Looking forward to seeing what you all come up with!! I’ll post a few of my own in the coming week.
